Winter Park Florida is on the northeast boundary of Orlando. This is a quaint town built originally as a resort or vacation destination in the winter thus the name Winter Park. Winter Park is charming with old moss covered trees lining brick paved streets.

Winter Park has a great art scene. Every year the town hosts the largest and very popular sidewalk art festival. This festival hosts artists from around the world who display stunning sidewalk displays. The festival is so popular that only a portion of the artists that apply to take part are chosen. There is so much to do in Winter Park. On Park Avenue there are many great shops and restaurants. There are many greats parks in the town including Central Park and Shady in the center of town. Central Park is just across the street from the shops of Park Avenue and Shady Park has a great splash area for kids to enjoy. Water recreation can also be enjoyed on the Winter Park Chain of Lakes year round. Winter Park also has a great golf course that can be played year round. There is so much to do in Winter Park it would seem that you would never need to leave the city but if you do theme parks and the attractions of Orlando are just short drives. Many people who work in Orlando live in Winter Park because it’s close by but has a smaller laid back feel.

Homes in Winter Park come in all shapes and sizes from condos to big estates. Prices in Winter Park start in the $100,000 range and soar into the $7million range. There is a significant amount of foreclosure properties in the Winter Park area and now is the time to find a great property at a price below value. The lake front properties in Winter Park are gorgeous and could not be better located. This really is a great place to live check it out.
